Uma brilhante reflexão

A primeira vez que ouvi essa música, senti que algo mudou em mim. Melodica, rica em sua letra, cativante. Nada mais do que a busca pela liberdade, seja ela qual for. Claro que, para ser brilhante, foi escrita por ninguém menos que Bob Marley, ícone do reggae. Dentre suas inúmeras criações, "Redemption song" é minha favorita. Por motivos muito pessoais, a canção me passa uma tranquilidade, um equilíbrio, um ideal de novo caminho. Perfeita para ouvir a beira do mar durante um dia de sol e refletir.

O cantor a escreveu em 1979, pouco depois de ser diagnosticado com câncer, motivo pelo qual veio a morrer em 1981. A versão original da canção foi gravada em um solo acústico de Marley, sem acompanhamento, porém uma das performances mais conhecidas é a de Lauren Hill com o Ziggy Marley, filho do cantor.

Resumindo: Esta é uma música imprescindível, para todos os momentos. Ouça e reflita.
